Charity Has No Boundaries

Visiting orphanages, playing with children, giving donations and spending time with the elderly is what we can share and give in Malaysia.

In Cambodia the protracted civil war brought people there so much pain, hurt and genocide (1970 - 1975) with 200,000–300,000 ordinary people dead. Many were artists, writers, dancers, teachers etc etc....this has left a huge hole in the Cambodian infrastructure, and the country is only now - so many years later, trying to recover.

Some ask me - why Cambodia. The above is a good enough reason to try to help a war ravaged country, much poorer than Malaysia, having fewer resources than Malaysia. Cambodia cannot exist without outside help - can the same be said for Malaysia.

So please ask again - why Cambodia, then learn a little more about that country and answer your own question.

Gratitude is the only word I can think of since my first day there in Cambodia. It is with thanks to those children who live in poverty, that I have been taught what real appreciation is and because of them I have learnt to be appreciative for where i am living and what i am having.
