Honey On Dali ~ Art Show 2015

This is an exhibition of  Dali Triangle's sketches, from Figueres, Port Lligat ( Cadaques)  and Pubol. It was a wonderful journey, experiencing Catalonia, learning about Salvador Dalí from his presence at Hotel Duran and within what has been called the Dali Triangle.  Señor Duran senior told me how Dalí  behaved when he dined in Restaurant Duran and which was his favourite food.

I am very pleased to have visited this three sites in Catalonia. The most intimately related to Salvador Dali’s life and works. With excitement I find some of his masterpieces in Dali Theatre Museum. In Cadaques and Portlligat I get a very intimate access to Dali's private life and in the mansion that he bought for his wife Gala, in Pubol.

I have learned a little about Dalí and Gala, and their unusual love story... And have so much more to learn!

And in the evening, at seven o'clock, on19th of June, the exhibition launched by Señor Luis Duran and Señor Marti Dacosta! We met many lovely people.....it was a fantastic evening which surrounded by sophisticated people. I was very happy to have met Urban Sketches from Barcelona, Girona and Figueres! I appreciate spending time together and the sharing!

Happy Thoughts

In this unusual period, with all uncertainty and not very good news surrounding everyday, I am still meeting nice people and receiving great positive energy!! I am thankful for all that. Today is my birthday on Chinese lunar calendar, Hehehehe, happy birthday to myself and happy dumplings festival to everyone!
My birthday wishes is to walk on the right path in this life time, to have good people around me to do the right things, to practice loving kindness together. Here are my new work in progress in aids of supporting Colors of Cambodia Charity art project. I am painting with lots of love and joys, radiating this great energy to the very kind and generous friends who love art, and believing in ART WILL SAFE THE WORLD!
To be able to continue giving art education to Cambodian students who have dreams in art and wanting to persuade their education, is the best contribution I ever do and give to the society. Of course, all these will only becoming true with all your supports. The world without art you can only see the history through writing....a country without art you see only some part of the culture.... individuals lives without art you see less beauty in life...Looking at a piece of art on the wall, we allowing our senses to become quiet for a moment ...

“I am an Artist, I talk Art”

“I am an Artist, I talk Art”
19th July 2020
Being interview, videoing and sitting in-front of a few cameras made me nervous and not able to talk properly. MY GOSH!!!! It took me a long while to accept the way I look and how I speak .
I would prefer to be at the back stage actually, but I also understand that I must learn to talk and share more about what I am doing as an artist and my involvement with the charity art project Colors of Cambodia ~ “art will safe the world”! My heartfelt thanks to April Chin , Andy Chow, Yuen James, Irene Wan, and Rekha Menon , for their dedication in the collaborationist “I am Artist, I talk Art”.

And, and and.... thousands times of thank you for the precious time, efforts, guidance and patience given to me throughout the whole interview sessions. I am grateful for the platform and promoting via this wonderful ways. So, here I am, presenting you a short video of me, interview by Andy Chow from Malaysia Advance Photographer Group (MAPG).
Enjoy .... and then oh.....Please LIKE, SHARE, SUBCRIBE the YouTube to help spreading the good word and love of arts.

Nymphea Caerulea

“Nymphaea caerulea” ~ Sacred Blue Lily of the Nile (Egyptians) and “Nelumbo nucifera” ~ Blue Lotus = Lotus Eaters (India) are equally beautiful and spiritual. For me to observe how Water lily ( Numphaea Caerylea ) which is depictions of the floral symbol of Upper Egypt grown is a significant experience.
This beautiful flower was shown throughout Egypt in the tombs and temples. It is to symbolise the union of Upper and Lower Egypt. The blue water lily is actually had a much deeper significance to the Egyptian people. It is the symbol of the sun of creation and re-birth.

I love seeing the intense golden center set against the blue petals is just so beautiful and magic... light radiants through the centre of the heart..... awwwwww! It’s a real blessing in the morning, soul awaken.
I hope this series of photo la I took on the midday will bring you good energy, and here’s a beautiful wiring about Blue Lily from Vasselin, K., The Waters of Chaos. (Resources from Caroline Seawright).
“In the beginning were the waters of chaos. Darkness and silence reigned but in the depths of the watery abyss lay the formless spirit of the Creator, the father and mother of all things... Darkness covered the waters until magical day that the Primeval Water Lily rose from the abyss. Slowly the blue water lily opened its petals to reveal a young god sitting in its golden heart. A sweet perfume drifted across the waters and light streamed from the body of this Divine Child to banish universal darkness.
This child was the Creator, the Sun God, the source of all life but every evening a water lily sinks below the surface and does not rise again until dawn. So the Primeval Water Lily closed its petals at the end of each day and vanished back into the waters. Chaos reigned through the night until the god within the water lily returned. “
p/s: mmmm.... Lily does not sink below the surface though.

Life

Life is a suffering ?! Or life is a lesson? Mmmm.... How are we living our life ? To have a happy life or miserable life? Well, my life wasn’t easy during my early age, to choose to walk the path of motherhood at the age 23, and having to earn that little RM600 salary per month, and then divorced later.... Challenging eh! But all the hard works does pay off. Boys are now grownups....both of them are my most precious !!! No matter how tough the life was, no regrets!

With persistence and continue to dreams, I did, and have make some of my dreams comes true. We do have the right to choose which we want

Another 3 years for me to mark my 50th. So, I have been looking back, acknowledging the good and bad that had happened in my life and making reflections everyday and night during this unusual period. Also thinking.... what are the things that I wish to do and need to do before I move into another chapter of life.

I am observing my changes in physical body, inner self and spiritual practice....hahaha..all are good, and improving... so, yes, that’s the way to go!

Cheers for being still alive and to record my life journey! Cheers for all of you that come to my life! Cheers  for all the lessons to learn, to grow and to be a better person.

Budding

Ahhhhhh!!! Blue lotus is budding now ...I am holding my heart, taking deep breath looking at this little bud in the water.
I am so thankful for the life forces given by the nature at home, to give me the opportunity to learn and watch these beautiful life closely from another realm.
Reflection of life and gratitude is makes each day when I am in the garden, be with the plants, getting close to what I have from the nature... Life is not easy during this pandemic but there’s always a way to go go forward....having positive attitude does help.
